Bethany Roy, Los Angeles, CA, History, Mythology, Creative Writing & ESL has spent three summers working at overnight summer camps in California, as well as creating and teaching VBS curriculum. Having thrived at Lions Club speech contests and Academic Decathlon competitions throughout high school, Bethany is now using this writing experience to develop that skill in children. She has privately tutored English as Second Language (ESL) students, as well as coached her former Academic Decathlon team in Fowler, CA. Bethany has served as the chief copy editor of Trinity Western University’s campus newspaper Mars’ Hill, the associate editor of the literary journal [spaces], and has been published in both those publications as well as in Converge Magazine. Bethany recently completed her Bachelor of Arts in English and History (with great distinction) at Trinity Western University, BC, and is eager to share her knowledge in and enthusiasm for Greek and Roman mythology with DIGIVATIONS students.
